To provide our core service—accurate prayer times and Qibla direction—Salah Guide requires access to your location information.

Fine Location Data

Precise geographical position (GPS and network-based) used to calculate the exact timing of the five daily prayers for your specific neighborhood.

Coarse Location Data

Approximate location used as a fallback to ensure you still receive prayer reminders even when precision signal is low.

2. Permissions

In addition to location, the app requests the following permissions to enhance your experience:

    Push Notifications We use notifications to send you Adhan reminders and spiritual prompts. You can customize the tone or silence these at any time in the app settings.
  • explore
    Device Sensors Access to your device's magnetometer (compass) is required to show the accurate Qibla direction relative to your current standing.

3. Data Usage & Protection

Our Sacred Commitment

We do not sell, trade, or rent your location data to third parties. Your location is processed exclusively to calculate prayer schedules and is not used for targeted marketing or behavioral profiling.

Data is transmitted securely via industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS). We only retain the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our services and for as long as your account is active.
